HACKED!

my blog's been hacked a couple of days ago when i was 'locked' away in the air base due to the damned RSAF Open House, never mind that hacked incident now that it's over heh

so, speaking of the Open House, if you popped by, i hope you had fun with those f15s, f5s, chinooks and apaches, otherwise, you weren't missing out on a lot, mostly thanks to the bloody evil damn hot sun. now i got this weird tan from wearing the beret for 3 consecutive days in the open. well, lucky me, most of my mates who were doing the same thing were under the sun for 4 days hee

anyhow, enough of all these staying-in-for-8-days nonsense please, now bring on our replacements alreadyy! CANT WAIT TO GET OUTTA A-R-M-Y!!

that said, 105 days to go y'all!

HURTS

so one of britain's biggest export of the decade popped by our shores for a gig at the esplanade recentlyy.

the duo, adam anderson and theo hutchcraft were spotted just before they went to meet the press when i met them and they were so nice! did i mention that they were absolutely gorgeous too?

though the encounter was a really quick and brief one, i was more than contented and happy to have met them! they shook hands and introduced themselves and signed some autographs and posed for pictures, of course we had a quick chat.

i told adam that i was really glad that they have chosen to 'illuminate' as their new single as it was easily one of my favourite songs on their album and he told me that it was one of their favourite songs as well!

seriouslyy, all the songs on the album are single worthy, in my opinion!

i believe of all the reviews i read of their debut gig here, im pretty sure they will be making their way back soon enough ehh!

this is sara bareilles, the one who brought you the very infectious 'love song' which was released a couple of years ago that have everyone humming to that song and topping every other charts all over the world.

her other song 'bottle it up' was used in one of my favourite episodes of 'lipstick jungle' and i can never forget that scene when nicole and kirby were at the 'switch' partyy heh yes, that song stuck with me since! HA!

so, after releasing her second album 'kaleidoscope heart' and supporting MAROON 5 in australia, ms bareilles finally popped by our little hot and humid island!

we met her when she arrived from brisbane way ahead of her sold-out gig at the esplanade.

she was so sweet it's almost diabetic! in her words, 'ive never had fans waiting for me at the airport before!' we sure are honored to have been the first fans who have greeted her at the airport in her career! look, she even tweeted about it!! HA!!

though she looked obviously tired from the flight and without the slightest ounce of make up on, she agreed to take pictures with us and signed a couple of stuff for us. she could easily fall into one of the nicest people we have ever met!

so im very much looking forward to greeting her for the second time at the airport, again!
ALSO! she went on taking about how she was being greeted by fans at the airport when she arrived even at her show!

deadmau5 + SOFI

this is joel zimmerman, or deadmau5 as we know him by popped by our sunny shores this past weekend as part of his world tour, after Aussieland.

and this is sofi toufa, who sings on mau5's latest album '4X4=12' (and 'one trick pony' is a DAMN good songg!!). sofi was also a backup dancer for avril lavigne on her 'best damn tour' back in 2008 and yes we met her back then as well.

so, we got to meet the bunch just as they arrived here the other day and the mau5 was spotted with playboy model lindsay, who is very hot by the wayy!

anyhow, sofi was one of the reasons i decided to wait for them at the airport cause since we met in 2008, she was this cool chick with a really cool attitude and she is.. okayy so you get the point, SHE.IS.COOL! heh

sofi was rather stunned when i asked her to sign on a photo we took 3 years ago and she literally exclaimed when she saw it and she immediately remembered it! ha ha so she signed and took an updated picture!

MAROON 5

so the guys from maroon 5 came back to town as part of their 'hands all over world tour 2011' and lead singer, mr Adam Levine decided to trade friendly for bitchy when the band arrived into town.

he had hands on one of their crew and ran to the waiting vehicle and signed a total of THREE autographs, however, thankfully, the other four members of the band were as nice as i could remember. James Valentine, Matt Flynn, Mickey Madden and Jesse Carmichael must have signed over a hundred autographs for the waiting group of fans heh heh my favourite member gotta be Jesse, since the last time it still remains ha ha

anyhoo, glad the guys got better reviews of their gig as compared to the show three years ago which they did only 13 songs, and how 'lazy' and 'uninspiring' Adam was, oh well.

hopefully, we get to see them again on our shores soon eh, though i do remember that in one of their interviews, they mentioned that this would be their last tour as they 'have already reached the peak in their career'. i say, let the fans be the judge!

in the meantime, there's the new singing competition called THE VOICE which Adam is a judge on, along with Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo Green and Blake Shelton. i've watched the first episode, i like it, i like how Adam and Christina were 'fighting'! HA!

so here are my signed stuff from this trip! cannot complain ehh ha ha
