having to wait for close to two hours after her hour long set at Twin Towers @Live at KLCC with just a drummer and a deejay, she totally blew me awayyy! didn't expect her to be that good 'live' for this being the first time we're experiencing her live performance!
she did everything from 'trick me' to 'acapella' and '4th of july (fireworks)', she was so so good, no kidding!! she also did the tracks where she was a featured artiste on 'bounce' with calvin harris and 'spacehip' with benny benassi!! i was rather surprised i actually knew more of her songs than i have expected and her deejay was so good with all the remixes and kelis just dive right into every song, song after song, mixing from LMFAO to Nirvana, she was so good i couldn't get enough!! and she did one of my favourite off the 'fleshtone' album, 'emancipate', that killed me!!
so after the show, we met her as she leaving the venue - she was so damn nice!
told her we were from Singapore and came to watch her, she was all 'thank you, wow, and i love Singapore!' and she even told us she's been there TWICE! and she told us they were all small scaled/private gigs and we kept insisting she come back to Singapore soon and she said she'd loved to!!
then she graciously signed the album after a quick picture together (the one above).. and as she was going off, i asked if i could have another picture as im greedy..
'well, greedy is greedy, let's do another one!', kelis' response.. ha ha

that closed the entire trip to kuala lumpur on such a high and am still grinning from ear to ear as i type this ha ha :)))))
