and so the other mega event of the year in music, besides the grammy’s that is, is back and this year, the VMAs will return to california in los angeles at the nokia theatre on 28 august 2011 (29th august morning, our, singapore time heh)
so katy perry’s got a whole bunch of nominations, NINE to be exact, including video of the year (reallyyy?!!)!! mother monster only got THREE nominations? britney spears only received TWO nominations and rihanna is only nominated for her features work with kanye west and eminem? and whatttttt? neither born this way nor judas is nominated for video of the year and rolling in the deep is? what's up with katy perry ehh? and rolling in the deep is in the running for best direction and s&m, judas and born this way are not??

i have to say that even though i am a fan of the album teenage dream by katy perry, the album do not quite deserve the NINE nominations because mother monster, babrados queen and queen of pop all got very good releases as well. fingers crossed in the hope for some justice will be done cum 28th august (our 29th) ehh..

well well well, in just under two weeks, we will also see performances from chris brown, adele, lil wayne, bruno mars and young the giant (for now) and rick ross, seth rogen, selena gomez and kim kardashian will be among others in attendance to present some moon man heh
