MTV EMA 2011 - y'all ready?

so in case you havent heard yet, the 2011 mtv europe music awards is back on sunday (well monday, our time, that is)
and this time around, belfast in northern ireland will be playing host and SELENA GOMEZ, one of my personal favourites, will be hosting.

this year mama monster leads with six nominations including best song (for 'born this way') alongside adele (for 'rolling in the deep', OF COURSE?), 'grenade' by bruno mars, and hot latina mama jennifer lopez feat. pitbull for 'on the floor' as well as the vmas big winner katy perry (for 'firework')
so after mama, katy and burno mars are up for 4 awards while adele, justin biebs and jared leto and co., thirty seconds to mars are up for three nods.
other nominees include linkin park, foo fighters, red hot chilli peppers, neon trees, jessie j, snoop dogg and a whole lot moreeeee!

the categories that im rather excited about - best new, best push and worldwide act.

lmfao, wiz khalifa, far east movement, bruno mars (really? new?) and jessie j are up for best new act.
not so sure how new bruno mars is but i am rooting for either lmfao, far east movement or jessie j to win.
but well, a big part of me is hoping far east movment would win - asian pride, alright? ha ha

and alexis jordan, big time rush, bruno mars, far east movment, jessie j, katy b, lmfao, neon trees, theophilus london and wiz khalifa are all up for best push.
im gonna assume the award is for those artistes who's performed for mtv push this year.
and since the emas is mtv's last award show of the year, they're gonna be giving out the award there.
anyways, seeing as i am very biased again tyler, i mean neon trees,
of course im rooting for NEON TREES!

so there's a worldwide act award that will be given out at the awards and to be honest,
besides kpop's big bang (who's representing asia) and north america's britney spears,
i have no idea who europe's lena, abdelfattah grini who's representing africa, middle east and india as well as restart of latin america.
im hoping britney would win but you never know how crazy the fans on the other side of the world are when it comes to voting.
and once again, for asian pride, i'd be happy if big bang wins too - im a fan of seungri (OOPS!) ha ha

anyways, there are a couple of categories which i dont understand like the nominees for best male and best video.
first of all, how is david guetta eligible for best male
when one, he is a producer and two, he doesnt sing.
i mean i am a fan but i dont think a deejay should be up for best male.
and bruno mars, best male, reallyyyy??
and they have once again put the biebs in the wrong category,
if they have to have biber in the category, maybe the sister category, best female?
other nominees in the category are eminem and kanye west.
my vote goes to kanye, please win.

after losing at the vmas to katy perry.
so remind me again, how is sitting on a chair in almost every other video be good enough for best video?
best song for 'rolling in the deep' i understand but not this one reallyy..
and who is justice? 'nuff said.
im a proud monster so my vote goes to mama monster for 'born this way'.
i would be happy still if beyonce wins though,
'run the world (girls)'s got really good chereography heh heh
