first of all,
happy deepavali to everyone who enjoyed one monday off from wherever you were.

so tuesday's critique was rather mad.
pretty much tears around but heck,
it's only critique and whatever it is,
we should stand on what we want as the ones behind those works,
as the ones who created them who had a vision for them.
but sometimes the words they used are rather harsh and have no mercy at all.
oh well...

but anyways,
i hope everyone will do well for the upcoming assessment in under three weeks.

i hate theatre to the core.
it is taking up too much time.
so much time i dont even know why they told us it was gon be relaxing.
bloody hell.
i dont mind being led into craziness but i am not a fan of being lied to.
arghhh.
looking on the brighter side,
one more week and we're done.

so the weekend is here and for once,
it felt like a weekend.
i had pretty much enough rest,
no booze and getting work done despite the rushing here and there.
but it's all been good and it makes me happyy.

but that's not the point i am here typing this entry here..

somehow,
there is some sort of feeling deep down that tells me i'm right about certain things.
certain things that i would call them revelation and new beginnings.
i think i have figured out what has been the distance between two people before.
it have made me realised it's better things are better off this way.
at least there aint no complications and no committment.

and also in my other random thoughts,
i think i am not ready to be in a relationship or even to date someone.
i think i'm gonna stay the way i am now for a while and sort things out by myself and if the right one should come along,
no matter what we do,
how deep we sink and how far we run,
nothing can stop it.
like what avril sings and manfred wrote,
everything will work out perfectly if things were meant to be..

i am a happy boy todayy.

nothing much happened lately except the fact that,
early mornings till late nights in school.
it's pretty tiring but i feel super achieved especially when someone pop over and tell you their opinions on the work.
be it good or bad.

i think i am freaking myself out.
i am a year three student and i still have problem with colours choice and composition.
ahh damn!
hwee khim thinks these are some thing that will come to me naturally and all i have to do is to do more and let it come fine me.

oh well..

and one thing i am concerned about..
one thing that's been floating in my head for a while now.

to be less specific and be less political,
let's say it's just the physical distance.
where are the people i care about and people i enjoy being around with..

so joyce, manfred and i got up very early this morning and headed for the radio 1003 studio for our first live radio interview with shun jue and wan fen.

it was so much fun and i would do this again if we are being offered another opportunity.
can we be greedy and request for 91.3? or 98.7? or power 98?
we struggled our way through and oh well,
seems like all is well..
except for some on air accidents!
HAHA!!

yes the 'you and me' trio were in town to promote their fourth album and they performed two sets during their stay here.
one for some nokia private event and another to support and promote their album.
sorry but the publicity for this concert is next to the words 'really, really bad'.
i didnt know until i was randomly surfing and realised they were coming which was about two days before the event..
well done, i knoww..

but nonetheless,

and that was what i learnt on this week's episode of ugly betty when betty said that to daniel meade.
and it made me realise something..

so, this week have been pretty much about craziness in school and getting more work done.
the selection for our works for the alliance française yesterday was pretty intense.
what was more important was the fact that all of the printmakers will be exhibiting our works at an upcoming show called 'proof 5' and i am so so excited about it.
my first printmaking exhibition and i believe it's gonna open some opportunities in the futuree.
heh heh..

many things are floating in my head.
research methods presentation.
printmaking print book assignment - 20 images.
printmaking one more silkscreen image.
first major critique in late october.

and of course some stuff that are not so important on the surface,
turned out to be rather important on the inside of my mind, body and heart.
hmmm..

okayy, enough of emo shit.
