most of you probably dont know who this boy is ehh
heh heh
he was one of the contestants from american idol who didnt make it through to the live shows,
but but but,
he still got his record deal nonetheless!
and he was in town to perform at TAB for a week earlier this month and i must say he's a really really intense performer!
he's got some moments when he'd flash his 'rabbit' performing face and that he is so so into his music when he performs.

had a nice chat with him while he was taking a puff and seriously,
he's a really nice guyy. heh
here's to wishing him all the best and that he'd set foot on our shores and in the region again!

so sean kingston was in town once again late last month for a performance,
part of the singapore gp season!
he is really not that friendly and his manager was probably worst!
thank god for his very nice band member!
and not only was he big, he is tall also!
and i got him to sign on both of the album!
ha ha

whatever it was,
he put on a really really show at the village stage right after adam lambert performed..
i enjoyed it thoroughly, really!

MISSY ELLIOTT

Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott popped by our shores and played a really really awesome set as the headliner of the first day of the singapore grand prix 2010.

remember 'work it' 'get your freak on' 'lose control' and 'pass that dutch'?

she sang all of them.

unfortunately there was a power failure but that didnt stop missy to do what she do best and put on a really good show!

also, she was throwing pieces from her RESPECT M.E line from adidas to the crowd too!

AND! she made her way through to the back of the field to mingle with everyone present at her performance!

and i got missy to sign on my F1 ticket!!

one of the hottest rapper in the music industry, Lil' Jon, popped by singapore for a gig at Wavehouse in Sentosa as part of some hip-hop music festival!
he's done collaborations with 3OH!3 and usher (on the song 'Yeah')!

i totally forgot to post this one and so here it is!
long long overdued one!
ryan cabrera, the one who brought you the tunes 'on the way down', 'true' and 'photo' was in town for a two-night gig at the new concert venue, TAB along orchard road!
yes, he also used to date ashlee simpson and lisa from the veronicas,
which could also be the reason why he was being taken note! ha ha

anyways, he's kinda good looking in his yexas way and he's really nice.

caught him just before he went into the venue for soundcheck and god,
he soundchecked 'TRUE' and it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!
i even recorded it! HA!

didnt they always say we were the lucky onesss.

so yesterday i had three of those nasty wisdom teeth removed.
i was being put to sleep.
the injected anesthetic were great.
i didnt even know what happened and apparently,
i was knocked out earlier and faster than i was supposed to.
lightweight, that's me!

anyways,
the whole procedure was pretty intense and it got me really really scared and im not even gonna lie to you.
i was so so worried before i went for it and im so glad that things are looking okay on my side.
it's still bleeding, yes but it wasnt as sore as i would have expected it to be.
THANK GOD!

and so there are these threads from the stitches in my mouth that i can feel them dangling around everytime i eat.
which in my opinion is kinda disgusting.
also, as the doctor has instructed,
porridge, yoghurt and ice cream would be my ideal diet these couple of days.

and, eight days of mc.
then will be back to remove the stitches.
and im kinda scaredddd.. heh

just thought i'd wanna share on the www.

anyways,
i know what you mean you gorgeous little thing.

she is so so sweet.
she is one of the sweetest celebs we've ever met,

did i mention she has got the littlest make up on her and she is absolutely gorgeous!!
she even invited us to walk with her to her vehicle and talked to us like there's no celebs-fan barrier.

they headlined and played at the timbre rock and roots music festival held these past two days at marina promenade.
apparently,
it wasnt only their first time playing in singapore,
but it was their first ever show in asia too!

the guys are really taller than they look on publicity photos!

finally the whole five weeks course is done!
and i am no longer ever gonna be a trainee in the SAF context!
YAY!
let's hope i will try and sustain the ippt standards for myself so in a couple of months,
i'll be able to be promoted to a lance cop.

and since after the course and the whole posting thingy screwed up,
we've been given block leave for the upcoming week..
trick is they will deduct 5 days from my annual leaveee..
so unfair but..
good to have a little break after the mad five weeks of mentally draining course.

speaking of which,
barely after a couple of hours of arriving at the camp site during our field camp,
and within the first hour when we started the whole field camp exercise,
i had to faint and be evacuated to the medical centre then to the hospital!
dramamamama if you askk..

that would be number four faint in the span of 6 months!

before i go,

not the most ideal part of the entire part of the national service especially when it's even worst than bmt in tekong.

i actually am quite annoyed with the stuff we need to do and all that shit about standardisation.
i call it absolutely shit and i dont even see the point of making everypone have or do the same thing.
as if in wartime we're gonna even fight for the country.
i mean..
to be brutally honest.
i think i need to consider migration just so i dont have to do the whole ten cycles of reservice of two weeks each!

in other news,
i think it's been a pretty good year so far.
the past five weeks been perfect.
valentine's day and chinese new year coming up!

still not the biggest fan of chinese new year.
